After facing backlash on social media, the model reportedly apologized on a Chinese social media platform called Weibo, but on no other social media platforms.

Fashionista wrote that Russian models Julia Belyakova, Kate Grigorieva, and Irina Sharipova, as well as Ukranian model Dasha Khlystun will no longer be taking part in the show, according to Instagram fan accounts.

The VS models aren't the only ones having difficulty with the Chinese government. "Can't wait to tune in with everyone to see the lovely show I know it will be, and already can't wait for next year!"

The annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is set to film in Shanghai in two weeks, but so far the drama behind the scenes is already making for an interesting spectacle.

"It's just a nightmare for all the media trying to cover [the show]", a source told Page Si.

But backstage snaps show the Victoria's Secret Angels glamour-free as they get ready for the runway show, sitting in their pink robes before their hair and makeup has been done.

"Can't wait to tune in with everyone to see the attractive show I know it will be, and already can't wait for next year!" Even as models prep for the show in Shanghai, the lingerie brand is keeping quiet on which performers will also take to the catwalk.

Swift was also expected to make an appearance, especially since the show takes place shortly after the release of her new album, Reputation.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is scheduled to air on CBS on November 28, but people tasked with covering the event are "on the verge of nervous breakdowns", according to The Post.
