The Axon M is a regular phone in all respects except the distinguished split display. It was supposed to be ready for launch in 2018.

We have been hearing a lot about the flip phones or foldable devices from various giants like Samsung and other. Chinese manufacturer ZTE has unleased the ZTE Axon M, which they are claiming to the first smartphone with a foldable dispolay.

ZTE is doing what it can to take advantage of the dual displays. There is a dedicated button on the side that lets the user switch between different modes of the device. But the screen is not.

The ZTE Axon M has a primary 5.2-inch display that sits on a hinge. However, they are joined by a hinge, just like a laptop, which means that you can unfold the Axon M into a smartphone with a massive tablet-esque display. From here on, one can use the larger screen real estate to get tablet-like experience with their apps.

The ZTE Axon M delivers a premium smartphone experience for those wanting a great, everyday smartphone without sacrificing anything. All three perform different functions and you can choose the one you want depending on your usage needs.

There's also a Mirror Mode, which would allow both screens to display the same content. Each screen can run an app of your choice - Twitter could reside on one screen, while live sports are streamed on the other, for example. Consumers can make phone calls, text, browse the web and more from one screen when folded, fitting easily into a pocket. Driving this innovation was research cited by ZTE that 68 percent of smartphone owners report "frequently" switching between multiple apps on their phone; thus, ZTE designed the Axon M's dual functionality.

The Axon M features two 5.2-inch 1080p screens layered over with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Keep in mind the new Google Pixel 2 with its single 5-inch screen is 7.8mm thick and weighs 143 grams.

Well exclusively because this phone marks the beginning of a truly interesting period for the smartphone industry. It comes with an f/1.8 aperture. Under the hood is a 3,180mAh battery also with QC 3.0 rapid charging support.

It will soon be available in China, Europe and Japan.
