Apart from the camera, the major highlight is its hidden sound-guided speaker that resonates sound through the display and frame with completely hiding the speaker itself. During the first flash sale, the smartphone sold out in just 58 seconds, though no one knows exactly how many units were available. The new flagship from Xiaomi is called the Mi Mix 2 and being bezel-less is the USP this phone carries. It is powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset with Adreno 540 GPU for gaming 6GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage with a dual-SIM slot and support for a microSD for expandable storage. However, India will only receive the 6GB RAM/128GB variant, which has been priced at a competitive Rs 35,999. Both smartphones sport unique bezel-less design, metal chassis and ceramic rear body, which were designed by French designer Philippe Starck. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, digital compass, gyroscope, and ultrasonic proximity sensor. Xiaomi will also launch Mi noise-cancelling headphones with Type-C USB at Rs 2,999 and can be used with the Mi Mix 2. There's also the fact that Xiaomi has done well in the affordable market sector for the most part and is untested when it comes to the more premium side of things in India.

However, the real competition of the device will be with the current king of the affordable premium market - OnePlus 5, priced at Rs 32,999 for the 64 GB version and 37,999 for the 128 GB version.

The display beautifully blends with the device giving the phone an overall black look.
It has thickness of 7.7 mm and weighs 185gms.

Xiaomi is growing 58.9 per cent month over month with selling 10 million phones in September alone. It comes with Fingerprint sensor under its home button. The bottom chin is 12% less than the original Mi Mix. The Mi Mix 2 comes with a 5.99 inch display which sports a QuadHD resolution.

The display uses an aspect ratio 18:9 which was limited to 17:9 previous year. This aspect ratio increases the canvas area by nearly 12.5% and, thus, makes using apps like Google Maps incredibly easy.

The original Mi MIX caught the world's attention because of the nearly bezel-less format of the display. As per the figures released by Xiaomi, the Mi MiX 2 is 7% smaller and 4% shorter than the Apple iPhone8.

Last year OnePlus was in a league of its own.

The Mi Mix 2 has a single 12-megapixel camera with a sensor size of 1/2.9 inch.

When you picture the Mi MiX 2, you can't help but notice its delicate nature. The screen is protected using Gorilla Glass 4, while the back is protected using ceramic, which is twice as strong as Gorilla Glass panels.
