A digital ad by Republican Senate candidate Marsha Blackburn was blocked by Twitter on Monday after the company claimed it contained an "inflammatory statement" related to abortion. It has told Blackburn she can leave the ad up but cannot pay to promote it unless she removes the line.

Blackburn has served in the House for almost 15 years, so it's a bit of a stretch for her to run on Trump's "drain the swamp" message.

Blackburn, who is running for retiring Sen. As Blackburn explains, she stands with President Trump - on everything from building the wall to demanding that athletes stop protesting during the national anthem - in his battle against the Republican elites blocking his agenda in the Senate.

Blackburn's says: "I'm 100 percent pro-life. Thank God." The unproven allegations against planned parenthood never led to criminal charges, and the group denies any wrongdoing.

Rep. Marsha Blackburn worked on the Republican-run panel in the House of Representatives that investigated Planned Parenthood after secretly recorded videos claimed to show the women's health organization providing fetal tissue to researchers.

According to the Associated Press, Twitter told vendors for the campaign that the statement was "inflammatory", and stopped the ad from being promoted on the service.

In an email obtained by Politico, Twitter announced to Targeted Victory, the consulting firm running the Blackburn campaign's social media, that while the ad would be allowed to remain on the website, the campaign would be blocked from paying to promote it.

Blackburn and her campaign have urged followers to share the video.

"Join me in standing up to Silicon Valley", Blackburn's campaign tweeted Monday afternoon.

"Most people who have been bombarded with Twitter accounts featuring swastikas and hammer-and-sickles over the past year-and-a-half are likely to find it extraordinary that an ad offering a traditional critique of the abortion industry should be especially incendiary to a sales team", Harsanyi wrote. "And yes indeed, as chairman of the selective investigative panel, the work that our committee delivered stopped this practice of selling baby body parts". Videos that were released by pro-life activist David Daleiden clearly revealed that Planned Parenthood engages in the illegal sale of body parts harvested from murdered babies.

"Planned Parenthood was compassionate, they were nonjudgmental, and they were there for me", the woman said.
