A day after sitting out practice with a sprained AC joint in his non-throwing shoulder, the Patriots quarterback hit the field with his teammates as they prepare for Sunday's matchup with the New York Jets.

According to Karen Kuregian of the Boston Herald, Brady first "dinged" his shoulder in New England's October 1 game against the Carolina Panthers.

"I'm good. I'm not anxious about it", he said when he was asked about his injured left shoulder.

Brady dealt with a similar injury last season, but that didn't stop the Patriots from winning the Super Bowl.

Brady has undergone tests for the injury but is expected play in the team's Week 6 game against the Jets in NY on Sunday, sources told ESPN's Mike Reiss.

Brady's been a hit a ton this season.

Brady has been under pressure so far this season, taking 16 sacks - one more than he took in all of 2016. Against the Panthers, he was sacked three times and hit seven times.

Brady then re-aggravated the injury in the game against Tampa Bay.

He's also been sacked 16 times, more than in all 12 games he played in previous year.

The 40-year-old Brady leads the National Football League with 1,702 passing yards.
