Larry Flynt Offered USD 10 Million for Information Discrediting Trump

"The top of the ad, written in all caps, reads simply: "$10 million for information leading to the impeachment and removal from office of Donald J Trump".

An advertisement Larry Flynt placed in the Sunday October 15, 2017 edition of The Washington Post.

The publisher of USA porn magazine "Hustler", Larry Flynt, offered "up to Dollars 10 million" to anyone who provides information leading to impeachment and removal of President Donald Trump's position in the White House in a full page ad in the Sunday edition of the Washington Post, the Associated Press reported.

Larry Flynt's full-page ad in The Washington Post.

In Sunday's ad, Flynt asks for any "smoking gun" that is fit to publish and drives President Trump from office.

Considering the sorts of low life, knuckle draggers who read or watch his porn, I doubt whether Flynt is reaching an audience that would have the faintest clue what an impeachable offense might be.

The ad conceded that while impeachment would be a "messy, contentious affair", the alternative - another three years of a Trump presidency - was worse.

On Saturday afternoon during a call to the hotline listed in the ad a man told The Post the number would be staffed on weekdays, between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. PT, for the next two weeks. So, to capitalize on the anti-Trump hysteria, Flynt is offering cold hard cash for anyone who steps forward with information that could ignite a scandal that would bring down Trump.

This is not the first time Flynt has made such a request to expose politicians.

In 2007, he offered $1 million, also through a full-page ad in The Post, seeking evidence from anyone who had had an illicit sexual encounter with a member of Congress or other government official. "I can't think of something more patriotic to do than to try to get to get this moron out of office". In 1998, he threatened to release details on the extramarital affairs of elected House of Representatives speaker Bob Livingston (a Republican from Louisiana), that Flynt had obtained through an advertised reward.

So it seems that pornography has paid Flynt quite well, as the businessman clarified that he really means to pay those who will help him "dump" the president.
