As the airline begins to re-number the flights, Flight 666 will soon become Flight 954.

Would I board the last ever flight 666 bound for HEL on Friday the 13th?

Finnair said that it successfully operated 21 Friday 13 flights from Copenhagen to Helsinki with the unfortunate number over a period of 11 years. As of Oct 29th, some of the flight numbers in the Finnair network will change and AY666 flight from Copenhagen to Helsinki will change to AY954. Friday the 13th is known as an unlucky day in Western culture, so mix that with the Mark of the Beast and you could end up with some pretty uncomfortable passengers, especially since the flight goes straight to HEL.

No doubt there will be an audible sigh of relief when it lands in Helsinki shortly before 4pm.

"#AY666 arrived in HEL!"

"It has been quite a joke among the pilots", pilot Juha-Pekka Keidasto told the Associated Press in 2013. "It's only a coincidence for me", he added. Unfortunately, this will not be the last Friday the 13th.

'If there's some passenger who is anxious about this 666, our cabin crew is always happy to help them'.

A specific fear of Friday the 13th is called Paraskevidekatriaphobia, which derives from the from the Greek word paraskeví meaning Friday, and dekatria meaning thirteen.

One the same day, the chief product officer at Flightradar posted a photo of the flight itinerary.

The final destination for passengers on this Friday the 13th flight is HEL.
