In a shocking incident, five persons were found dead inside a house in Mansarovar Park area of Shahdara district in New Delhi on Saturday morning.

According to reports, the killings seem to be done to avoid a property dispute as nothing was stolen from the house.

The crime was detected at around 7 am when neighbors and a nephew of Urmila found Rakesh in a pool of blood in the parking area of the house. The police said Urmila, a widow, was living with her three daughters. His aunt's throat had been slit.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahadara) Nupur Prasad said that he suspects that the killings could be a fallout of a property dispute.

The police rushed to the spot as soon as they got to know about the bodies at 7.30 am on Saturday. More details on the matter are awaited.

"It was a friendly entry into the house". They have formed five teams to nab the killers, said Joint Commissioner (eastern range) Ravindra Yadav, while confirming the incident.

Forensic experts video-graphed the spot and took blood samples and finger prints. "One sister wasn't well, another was divorced, so she used to take care of the finances of the family in the absence of a male member", she said. "It'll be shocking if the probe reveals their involvement", he said, adding that the family often celebrated birthdays in the garden inside their house.
