Motorola has pushed the boundaries of the kind of attachments that one can fix on the new Moto Z and the company has continued to deliver speakers, gamepads and other trinkets. Additionally, you can charge your phone while using the Smart Speaker with Amazon Alexa.

The speaker has four microphones inside, so it should be able to hear you from across the room as well.

The new Amazon Alexa Moto Mod is primarily meant to be used to control the user's smart home devices. The phone is IP68 water resistant so it's still safe when you drop it on water or spill some liquid on it. Need to see what's on your schedule, to-do list, and view the weather forecast for the day?

Amazon Alexa is slowly but surely becoming an excellent replacement for Google Home and Motorola thinks so too as they have introduced a new Moto Mod that will bring the assistant to all supported Motorola phones. Just ask Alexa and the info appears on your moto z screen.

Alexa Mod provides up to 15 hours of built-in battery. Charging is also easier than ever with the new dock design that's flawless for the nightstand; whether at home or in a hotel room, your phone charges while still providing the convenience of Alexa. And as the name implies, you can only buy it if you have Amazon Prime.

Motorola's new Moto Mod allows users to have Amazon Alexa wherever they go.

All battery life claims are approximate and based on a standard mixed use profile. The handset is going to work on all major carriers in the United States, that includes Verizon and Sprint. This accessory has the feature that most add-ons usually don't have and it is the splashproof body.
