"Ah, yeah, that'll work", we thought calmly, then went on with other tasks.

It will chronicle the trajectory of Queen's career through the 1970s to the aforementioned Live Aid performance in 1985.

The footage also features Gwilym Lee portraying Queen's Brian May, Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor and Joseph Mazzello as John Deacon.

In the clip, Malek channels Mercury's stage presence, moving across the platform to a piano, where he sits down to perform "Bohemian Rhapsody".

The full circle aspect of Mike Myers appearing in a Freddie Mercury biopic called Bohemian Rhapsody after creating such an iconic moment with the song is a fun little detail.

The first official photo of Mr. Robot star Malek as Mercury came out a couple weeks ago, not long after the starring cast was announced.

The film is said to focus on the music of Queen instead of Mercury's life, which is one reason why Sacha Baron Cohen, who was originally supposed to play Mercury, stepped down from the role.

Bohemian Rhapsody is due out in December 2018.
