And NBC reporter Katy Tur, who was embedded with the Trump campaign during the election, also published her book, titled "Unbelievable: My Front-Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American History".

In her new book about her time on the presidential campaign trail covering Donald Trump, MSNBC host Katy Tur described receiving an unwelcome greeting from the president: a kiss on the cheek.

The tweet may also be referring to Hillary Clinton, whose election memoir What Happened was also released Tuesday.

The reporter recalled another moment from a 2015 interview where the business mogul told her, "You'll never be president!"

"Before I know what's happening, his hands are on my shoulders and his lips are on my cheek", Tur wrote in her new book "Unbelievable", which was released Tuesday. "I gave her a big kiss", Trump told a surprised Scarborough and Brzezinski on air.

"At first he was very charming and when he realized that his charm wasn't going to change my reporting, he would go on the attack, but he switched back and forth like that throughout the entire campaign".

She also discussed the incident in an NPR interview. "Trump wants you to go f-- yourself'". In an appearance on NBC's "Today" show to promote her book, Tur took more shots at Trump. Also, now is probably a good time to remind everyone of Trump's full "grab them by the pussy" quote, which reads as follows: "I'm automatically attracted to beautiful [women]-I just start kissing them".

Following one rally, Secret Service needed to walk Tur to her ride home after Trump specifically called her out by name during a campaign event. All of this experience eventually led her to cover the Trump campaign in 2016.

In an essay for Marie Claire in August 2016, Tur recalled being called out by Trump at a packed rally in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Axios recently reported that he "hate" watches the program on occasion - so perhaps he was tuned in when the NBC News correspondent implied Trump tried to intimidate her with his campaign rhetoric.
