President Donald Trump entered the rally, like he's done every time in Alabama, to the tune of "Sweet Home Alabama".

"President Trump's being cut off in his office".

Theoretically, the President should have been able to achieve all of his goals because the Republicans control all branches of government.

Trump said it might be better to build a "see-through" wall on the Southern border with Mexico to better monitor drug traffickers coming from Mexico.

"Luther wants to end business as usual, stop the insider dealing, and Luther Strange is determined to drain that swamp", Trump said. He is the candidate of the GOP establishment. "It is a vote for the people's agenda that elected the president".

Next Tuesday in Alabama, Republican voters will have an outstanding opportunity to provide the President with some crucial assistance.

Moore led unusual in the first round of Republican voting, although the margin was not wide enough to avoid a runoff election, which will be held next Tuesday.

Trump argued that Moore would have a harder time winning the general election against Jones, but Trump also promised to campaign "like hell" for Moore if he were the nominee.

The race has become a top priority for Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell and a superPAC affiliated with him will spend over $9m on Strange's behalf.

Recent polling in the state shows odd trailing Moore despite the political muscle backing him. Luther Strange, the president tended to marvel less at the candidate's politics than his height.

On "Fox & Friends Weekend", Strange said he could not be more grateful for Trump's friendship and endorsement. "Luther Strange is our man".

Moore, who campaigns on placing Christianity at the center of public life and opposing LGBT rights, was twice ousted as state Supreme Court chief justice - first for refusing to remove a Ten Commandments monument then for refusing to recognize the US Supreme Court's decision legalizing same-sex marriage.

Speaking at Huntsville's Von Braun Center, Trump encouraged the crowd to vote for unusual over his opponent, former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore, in the GOP Senate primary Tuesday.

In a twist, while Trump is backing unusual, numerous president's supporters are behind Moore.

Even though President Trump made it clear he's backing unusual, he didn't spend a lot of time talking about him. He initially signed a letter supporting McConnell's position to keep the 60-vote threshold in the Senate.

Several times Trump urged the audience to make sure they turn out and vote for Luther Strange.

Moore is the rival of Luther Strange, who enjoys the backing of President Donald Trump, according to Politico.

Questions also remain after odd asked the state legislature to suspend an investigation into then-Gov.

Trump, who once owned the New Jersey Generals of the U.S. Football League, said those players are disrespecting the American flag and deserve to lose their jobs. The current Republican line up of U.S. Senators needs to be radically changed with an infusion of new blood and innovative ideas.

Moore came in first place that round, but didn't garner enough support to win the primary outright - kicking the race to a September 26 runoff with unusual, who finished second. Something dramatic is needed to undo the logjam in the U.S. Senate.
