The London side host Germany's Cologne in Europe's second-tier competition on Thursday and Cech, who won the title with Chelsea in the 2012-13 season, said the club must take a call on how they approach the tournament.

Questioned by IBTimes UK whether he believes this Arsenal side is good enough to win the Premier League, Bellerin said: "If we did not think that we could win the title, what we would we be doing here?"

But equally, resting his best players is likely the best way to help Arsenal return to the Champions League as they chase a top four finish.

The likes of Manchester United and Manchester City have been spending in excess of £150m for the last couple of years, while Premier League champions Chelsea and even Liverpool made a decision to splash the cash over the summer. They've lost all three matches, and they've only scored once in the process.

Arsene Wenger seems set to shake up his side for the Cologne game.

Arsenal's first match in the Europa League is nearly upon us.

The Evening Standard report that seven first-team players were missing from an open session at the club's training ground this morning.

Arsenal play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Sanchez could play as he looks to improve his fitness while Wilshere may make his first Arsenal appearance in 383 days following last season's loan spell at Bournemouth.

David Ospina should also line up in goal, while Theo Walcott should also be included in the starting XI. Few youngsters involved in matchday squad too.
