United and Manchester City have an identical record at the top after five Premier League games - wins, points, goals scored and goals conceded - with Pep Guardiola's team on top only alphabetically.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan netted within a minute, Romelu Lukaku scored against his former club in the 89th and Anthony Martial slotted in a penalty in the second minute of stoppage time after Morgan Schneiderlin handled.

So far this season, there have been several players who have filled the slot, including Ashley Young, Daley Blind and Darmian.

Koeman, however, feels this is an unrealistic expectation.

"To think they signed Matteo Darmian as the right-back, Valencia is head and shoulders above him".

On the surface, it would be an easy outing for Manchester United as Everton have won just one out of four matches in the league and United have been extremely convincing.

In the 84th minute, United went 2-0 up through Mkhitarian who was played through on goal by Lukaku after Everton gave the ball away.

Antonio Valencia opened the scoring for United on the 4th minute after a wonderful strike from outside of the Everton area.

"After today we have four home games and we have to win, otherwise we'll have problems."

Everton's next league game is at home to Bournemouth, one spot below them in 19th, on Saturday.

'That is maybe unusual after a 4-0 defeat but, yes, they were really clinical and we didn't deserve this high defeat'. Be realistic. I'm not happy how we started the season, but please be a bit realistic about Everton. Following an Opening Day win over Stoke City, the Toffees drew Man City before clean sheet losses to Tottenham, Chelsea, and now United. 'It's a muscular injury in the hamstring but we have a normal procedure and wait a few more days, so it's completely nonsense information, ' he said.
