The first game, Red Dead Redemption, became an instant fan favourite on its release. The sequel for the game has been anticipated by fans for several years now and it is finally coming in early 2018. The CEO of Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games' parent company, affirmed Red Dead Redemption 2 is being "built from the ground up for consoles". It is expected that the studio will release a new trailer for the upcoming action adventure game. Rockstar hasn't confirmed nor denied this request, but there hasn't been any news about the release for Microsoft Windows.

As teased in their latest tweet, the developer will be delivering news on the product soon. It wasn't until the extraordinary breadth of Red Dead Redemption's open-world Wild West that the series found widespread acclaim.

The mysterious image has given rise to various theories on what Rockstar Games will unveil about Red Dead Redemption 2 next week.

Red Dead Redemption 2 had been revealed a while ago by Rockstar, but there haven't been many updates since then. Some are hoping that this might be what appears in the announcement come September 28th, but we are more than likely in store for a story trailer or, perhaps more exciting, a possible launch date for the title after its delay to 2018. It's nearly impossible to know what's going on behind the scenes at Rockstar unless you're actually there, but it looks like we will finally be getting some sort of update (maybe a trailer) on Red Dead Redemption 2 next week.

There have been various hints and rumors as to the game's story, such as that it focuses on Jack Marston, the son of John Marston who was the protagonist of the previous Red Dead Redemption game.
