Simon Mignolet is the Premier League goalkeeper and it looks as though Loris Karius will be starting in the Champions League - and now Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Danny Ward will be in the starting lineup at the King Power Stadium.

The England global has played only 57 minutes in three substitute appearances since his £35million deadline-day move from Arsenal. It's really good to give him the opportunity.

'It's a fantastic opportunity now for Alex.

The Wales worldwide was influential in Huddersfield's promotion campaign having spent last season on loan but the closest he has got to any action so far this term was watching the 4-0 win over Arsenal from the bench in his only selection in a match-day squad. Since he joined it's been pretty hard to train on different things because it's game after game after game. We sat together with him and the analysts and showed him how we want him to play in this position and that position.

"When the season starts, now we are really in this three-games-per-week rhythm and during the global break he was with the national team".

"We would be delighted to have him but if we don't get him and he's not with us then maybe that means he's involved with the first team, which would be fantastic as well", Critchley told the club's official site.

'It's really good that he's here'.

"But already at the weekend [against Burnley], he came on in a hard situation and he did really well".

Striker Dominic Solanke and full-back Jon Flanagan are also expected to play some part as manager Jurgen Klopp makes a number of changes from the sides that drew with Sevilla and Burnley.

"Dejan obviously didn't play, now we have to see how we can line up at centre-half".

"We will see, it depends on a few other things".

"It would make sense that Flanno is in the squad".

Meanwhile, Klopp says Adam Lallana (thigh) and Nathaniel Clyne (back) have both made encouraging steps in their recovery from long-term injury.
