The actress is now featured on the cover of the October issue of Cosmopolitan, and inside, the magazine published a questionnaire she filled out using prompts like: "The last photo I took on my phone", "What I do to de-stress", and "The laziest thing I've ever done".

That's fearless! One sweet side effect of Kate's buzzcut is that she turns out to have the same exact hair as her 13-year-old son, Ryder Robinson.

The 38-year-old is a mother of two and had a C-section with her son, Ryder. Then my hips weren't opening, and I wasn't dilating, ' she explained. "Hey #KateHudson", one wrote".

"I had 3 c sections in the last 4 years, and I found the comment hilarious", commented one Instagram user. But it was a question about the laziest thing she's ever done that poked the hornet's nest known as the internet.

While this mum asked on Twitter: "Please tell me which part of major abdominal surgery is 'lazy"?

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Hudson was responding to several rapid-fire questions when she made her quick comment about her C-section. The procedure? The heal time? She was commenting about HERSELF.

Medically unnecessary reasons for a C-section include planning a due date around work or travel plans, a doctor's schedule, or, perhaps, around wanting to avoid paparazzi. Maybe she's trying not to spoil the movie: here's a little still of her character that she posted in July.

While plenty of people took offense to what Kate said, there were those who seemed to understand that she was speaking of her own decision.

This is a great time to remind both Hudson and anyone else who looks down on C-sections that there is no "right" way to give birth. "Sounds exactly like something I would have said as a joke". We went in at midnight and I was like, "I am not going home".

In addition to the inflammatory response to one of the questionnaire's questions, Kate also revealed that out of all her former costars, she's choose Liv Tyler as a roommate, and would pick Larry David to play her leading man. "I had all plans to go natural and was 10cm dilated and pushing for hours until I had my baby come out via emergency c section". And so I got drugged up'.
