Indian Woman Arrested for Slapping Army Officer in Viral Video

The subedar has accused the woman of driving in a zigzag manner and refusing to give way to the army truck driven by a constable. The subedar has claimed that the woman was driving the vehicle in a rash manner and that she did not give them space to overtake the auto despite blowing the horn a number of times.

The constable then stopped the truck after which the subedar asked him to talk to Kalra. The soldier walked back to the truck and sat in the driver's seat only to find the incensed woman slamming her fists on the truck door, all the while shouting abuses at the soldiers. Her vehicle has been seized by the police.For assaulting an unresisting soldier, the woman was skewered on social media.The soldier was quoted in some media reports as saying she "suddenly" stopped the auto, walked up and starting hitting him. He got down to speak to her but she abused him and also slapped him a couple of times, they said. She is living with her parents in Gurugram.

"Without any provocation from our side, the woman started hurling abuses and slapped me and my driver for 5-7 minutes". The viral video was inspected by the Delhi police and the victim was identified as Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) Mahavir Singh of the Indian Army.

She was booked under the charges of "causing hurt to deter a public servant", obstructing and assaulting a public servant on duty and "wrongful restraint". She now lives with her parents in Gurgaon.

On September 9, the intolerant lady stopped her auto in front of an army vehicle that was ferrying soldiers. Kalra's Tata Indica auto has been seized.
