Android One is having somewhat of a resurgence right now.

Google's Android One initiative recently returned with the Xiaomi Mi A1, and now it looks like another one is on the way. Now it looks like HTC will be releasing one too, albeit with a massive bottom bezel. The company has clearly a signature in the Indian smartphone market in making the powerful Android smartphones at an affordable pricing in the country. The first device to debut under the Android One 2.0 platform is Xiaomi Mi A1 which is another Mi 5x with Android One branding and stock OS.

A couple of days ago, Evan Blass suggested that Motorola is preparing an Android One version of the Moto X4 smartphone, and a new report says that HTC is also joining the bandwagon with a rebranded Ocean Life smartphone aka HTC U11 Life. According to him, the HTC will push the unreleased HTC U11 Life smartphone to be issued under Google's Android One Program. The device is also expected to be water resistant and will have HTC's squeezable frame feature Edge Sense, which was first introduced with the HTC U11 flagship smartphone.

The phone will come out in October and use a 5.2-inch full HD display, a Snapdragon 630 CPU, and pack 32GB of internal storage.
