Heather Locklear was hospitalized in California with minor injuries after a auto crash, police confirmed to multiple new agencies.

It is unknown at this time what caused the incident, however, the police are saying that there were no drugs or alcohol involved in the crash.

The crash reportedly happened Thursday at around 5:40 p.m., and Ventura County Sheriff's Department representatives told reporters that Locklear was transported to Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks.

Heather also pleaded no contest to misdemeanor reckless driving in January of 2009. In 2012, she was hospitalized after her sister reported that the actress was mixing prescription drugs and alcohol, and was released after one day.

She was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries and is yet to report on her current state.

Heather Locklear is sending an update to her fans after she was involved in a vehicle accident. "Currently I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead".
