Werner told SportBild: "So far my journey with Leipzig has been good and that's why I am not thinking about the next two or three years".

On current form, Timo Werner would be a welcome addition to nearly any club on the continent. "I've been doing well with Leipzig but it's clear that I'd like to play for a big club in the future, although maybe Leipzig will become a big club soon", he added. The 21-year-old German has been in great form since arriving at RB Leipzig for the 2016-17 season; and his form has caught the eye of several teams around Europe, including Liverpool, who are ready to pay in excess of the £22.5 million valuation for Werner.

The 21-year-old Germany global is seen as one of the most exciting young German forwards in the Bundesliga and played a key role in RB Leipzig finishing second in their first season in the German top tier.

Werner looks ready to set the German top flight alight yet again this season, enhancing his prospects of a big move next year.

Werner is reportedly a target for Real Madrid following the sale of Alvaro Morata to Chelsea, while Liverpool were linked with the Germany striker last season.

"But I feel extremely comfortable at RB and would like to play here for a while".

"In England there are a few more: Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City".

"You can never promise something", the forward added.

Werner had also spoken about Liverpool earlier in the interview, when quizzed on teammate Naby Keita agreeing his transfer: "There's no anger to him".

All this makes for an incredibly attractive potential transfer that should get Liverpool fans excited, but just don't get too carried away by one young man's flirty behaviour.
