Daniel Cormier Pleads with Fans to Lay Off of Jon Jones

No punishments have been handed out by USADA yet, other than a provincial suspension after the drug test failure was announced.

The Jon Jones steroids drama continues.

Jones was informed of a potential USADA violation a few weeks after his spectacular KO victory over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214, a triumph which saw him reclaim the light-heavyweight title he was stripped of in April 2015. Let him and his team figure out what's going on and what happened. Jon is not on this ride alone, remember this man has a family. The disgraced former champion is potentially looking at a suspension of up to four years, not to mention possible fines and loss of income from being unable to compete or represent sponsors.

After knocking out Cormier in the third round of UFC 214's headliner, Jones seemed to turn over a new leaf with his longtime rival.

"Supplement companies are notorious for it if you go back and start reading some papers on them, and it's not right. If this does what it says it can be, it's a death sentence". He previously was banned for one year.

Jones was found to have taken a banned substance prior to UFC 214 last month and his win over Daniel Cormier. According to sports analyst, Jones is the only UFC fighter that been ever removed from his championship title because of disciplinary reasons.

Whatever the ultimate verdict, Cormier wants his followers to respect Jones.
