Although Baldwin is not a regular member of Saturday Night Live, he has appeared on the show a total of 15 times in the a year ago and a half, making him "a supporting actor" in the series.

Amityville-born and Massapequa-raised Baldwin started out his acceptance speech night by ribbing Donald Trump, saying the president finally has his Emmy. (Trump was nominated multiple times for producing his reality show The Apprentice, but never won.) "Should've gotten it", Trump said in the clip, eliciting an explosion of laughter in the Emmys auditorium.

Los Angeles [U.S.A], Sep 18: This year, the politics couldn't help but make its way onto the Emmy Awards stage.

Despite all the baiting by Colbert, Alec Baldwin and others last night, Trump didn't tweet a peep about the Emmys - though he did celebrate the 70th birthday of the U.S. Air Force and the Central Intelligence Agency this morning. You can nearly see him turning from orange to red.

Alec Baldwin won the comedy supporting actor Emmy for his withering impersonations of Trump for "Saturday Night Live "on the Comcast Corp's NBC". "I want to thank Trump for making black people number one on the most oppressed list", the actor said. But I like to think if I had written it, it wouldn't be so on the nose?

He claimed that what Hollywood and other performers do is important and they should "not stop doing what (they're) doing".

"This will be the largest audience to witness an Emmys period, both in person and around the world", Spicer said. "I can understand why you would want one of these guys around". Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin even pulled out old quotes from their 1980 classic "9 to 5" calling him a "sexist egotistical lying hypocritical bigot". "I love you more than life itself", Waithe said to her girlfriend, while also thanking her mother for inspiring the "Thanksgiving" episode. (Even late-night host Stephen Colbert mentioned that in a monologue.) Alec also said that the orange wig acted as a birth control for him and his wife. I wonder if there's a correlation there.

Oscar victor Nicole Kidman won her first ever Emmy Award as Outstanding Actress in a Limited Series, for her role in the show.
