World of Tanks commanders will be able to enjoy a new mode later this week, that takes the form of an episodic single player campaign, available to download from August 22nd onwards. That covers everything from movement to sniping, as well as details on tank performance and armour.

Where do I enlist?!The next level for the Wargaming franchise is a campaign expansion - World of Tanks: War Stories.

The War Stories mode can be played solo, or cooperatively and are launching at the same time as a new tank tutorial, with this content providing a solid backbone that should help players get into the multiplayer game with a few kills under their belt. These story driven campaigns will feature both single player and cooperative play, showcasing alternate history and fantasy campaigns told across three mission arcs. The second campaign Flashpoint Berlin, transports tankers to an alternate history of the Cold War as a convoy of Western Allies tread across Soviet territory on the path to West Berlin. Fans of the Xbox versions will have even more to celebrate.

War Stories will run on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S and the PlayStation®4- complete in 4K for Xbox One X and PlayStation®4 Pro users and will unlock new Xbox Achievements and PlayStation Trophies. Currently, Wargaming is focused on its team-based MMO war series dedicated to the mid-20th century warfare that includes the armored World of Tanks, the flight combat World of Warplanes, and the naval World of Warships.

Wargaming is all about being as historically accurate as possible, not only in their creation of the playable vehicles but also in the timeline that the gameplay surrounds; that's what makes World of Tanks such a unique experience.
