Ahead of its release, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is getting an update that would add a new playable character, new skins from the upcoming game, and a new cooperative mode called "Survival Arena".

Premiere independent additions of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is scheduled for August 23 (Europe), and that means it's time for the final trailer, after which you have exactly no doubt in the coolness of the coming exclusive to the PlayStation 4. Fans of the franchise will remember Chloe from her introduction in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves acting first as a foil for Drake while also playing the ally and love interest.

The newest Uncharted title, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, arrives next week and despite the campaign featuring two protagonists, there's still no sign of campaign co-op.

Naughty Dog also released a trailer to explain the features of the new Survival Arena multiplayer mode.

"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" is a standalone game in the popular "Uncharted" series where players will get to play the character of Chloe.

Taking all of this into consideration, it will be interesting to see whether or not Uncharted: The Lost Legacy eventually manages to have sales as successful as its predecessor, as Uncharted 4 sold 8.4 million copies in 2016.

The new update will reportedly benefit both the owners of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" and those who are planning to purchase the brand-new game.
