Actor Tom Cruise appeared to injure himself Sunday when he slammed into the side of a building during a jumping stunt on the London set of "Mission Impossible 6".

Cruise is now shooting the sixth installment in the "Mission: Impossible" franchise in London.

Mission: Impossible 6, starring Cruise, Simon Pegg, Henry Cavill, Alec Baldwin and Michelle Monaghan, is slated to hit theaters July 27, 2018.

Cruise was performing a stunt on set where he was jumping from building to building. According to video footage of the incident obtained by TMZ, the Top Gun star paused for a moment after he crashed into the building, then lifted himself up and over the ledge onto the roof.

After Cruise stands, hobbling a few more steps, he eventually is pulled back to the first building via his safety wires, where he walks away, escorted by the crew. It was unclear what if any injuries he sustained. But the 55-year-old refused any help. Cruise revealed that "stylistically it's going to be same".

"Aviators are back, the need for speed".

Seeing how Cruise is integral to such an action-heavy movie, his inability to work due to this injury could greatly affect the production process, similar to what happened with Harrison Ford after suffering an injury while filming The Force Awakens.
