Battlestar Galactica alum Katee Sackhoff is set to recur on The CW's The Flash, as the DC Comics villain Amunet Black aka Blacksmith.

She also has control over an underground black market known as the Network operating in both Central and Keystone cities in the comics. Going by clues on the picture, which seemed to feature a lightning bolt and a possible reference to "Berlanti Productions", it didn't take long for people to calculate that this was likely a role in the upcoming season of The Flash. When they divorced, Amunet stole the elixir that gave Goldface his powers.

Although Sackhoff has tended to play more heroic roles, she does have some history playing a villain on television.

In comics lore, Blacksmith possesses the superhuman ability to mold metal and merge it with flesh.

Almost a decade after her Battlestar Galactica run as Kara "Starbuck" Thrace, Katee Sackhoff is finally joining a live-action comic book adaptation.

It's now unknown if Sackhoff will be appearing as one of the show's "villain of the weeks", or if the beloved actress will be having a more substantial role in The Flash's fourth season. While Sackhoff censored most of the information on the script's title page, there are two visible hints to it being a script for The Flash. Season 4 will also see Danny Trejo introduced into The Flash among several other cast additions.

The Flash season four premieres on Tuesday, October 10 at 8/7c on The CW.

Sackhoff also stars in the crime drama Longmire as Victoria "Vic" Moratti (2012-2017).
