The listing also contains a diagram of the smartwatch that indicates the official name of the wearable to be the Samsung Gear Sport. Now, because it just passed through the FCC, it's not yet ready to be launched, but Samsung will be at IFA 2017, and in the past, it used the show to introduce new Gear devices. The device has been recently listed at FCC (Federal Communications Commission). It could be a hybrid between Samsung's Gear S3 and Gear Fit 2 that aims to serve the goal of both a smartwatch and fitness band.

A sports-focused watch would make plenty of sense.

Besides the fact that it features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, there aren't any other details about its specs. However, the Sport moniker suggests the device is meant to bridge the gap between a smartwatch and a fitness tracker. Apple has really refocused the Apple Watch around fitness, while Samsung's Gear watches are still going for a much more fashionable look. The Gear line has always been used for general use and making a sports-based smartwatch will make the product compete equally with Apple and FitBit, who are enjoying a big piece of the market-share now.
