Rocket League: Switch Exclusive Mario, Luigi Cars Revealed

For the Mario NSR/Luigi NSR auto, that special boost is the Super Star boost, while Samus's Gunship will use the Wave Beam rocket boost.

To celebrate Rocket League's release on Nintendo Switch Psyonix has announced a few exclusives coming to the Switch's version of the game holiday 2017. Members of the Orange team use the Mario and Samus cars seen in the pictures while members of the Blue team will be equipped with Luigi's vehicle and a different colored Samus suit. Orange team players will also see the Samus' Gunship vehicle that's previewed in the trailer, while Psyonix promises a "classic Samus color variation of her Varia Suit", when playing on the blue team. The Samus auto even features a "Wave Beam" rocket boost that is exclusive to that vehicle. Alongside the items we've already seen, developer Psyonix today revealed two cars you'll only find in the Switch version-and one, in particular, looks especially fantastic. Each of the aforementioned cars will be coming this holiday 2017.

With more than 33 million players and counting, Rocket League is without a doubt one of the most popular and thoroughly enjoyable gaming experiences one can have in this day and age, and the soccer/racing hybrid sports game is set to keep the good times rolling on its Nintendo Switch version. There are Mario and Luigi hats for cars, too. "The second of the Battle-Cars is called the Samus" Gunship and is based on the hero from the Metroid franchise.
