OnePlus 5 Slate Gray 8GB, 128GB variant goes on sale in India

Today, the OnePlus 5 Slate Gray variant with 8GB RAM has been released in the country.

After launching Soft Gold color variant of OnePlus 5, the company has now launched the 8GB RAM model in slate grey colour option as well.

Earlier this month, the company also launched the new Mint Gold colored OnePlus 5 with 6GB RAM. The new model will be in addition to the already available Midnight Black and Soft Gold coloured phones. Like the Midnight Black, this one is also priced at Rs. 37,999. During this week, the new variant of OnePlus 5 also went live, giving the fans of Slate Graycolor, more options.

Placed at a price point of Rs. 32,999, the OnePlus 5 comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage while the second variant of the handset featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage comes with a price of Rs. 37,999. The home button on the OnePlus 5 comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor and can authorize mobile payments. While OnePlus 3T buyers will get a free protective case. Also, OnePlus buyers will get Rs. 2000 off with Exchange, no Cost EMI options on credit cards and Rs. 1500 if they use Amazon Pay account, American Express card or Amazon Gift Card.

As far as specifications are concerned, the OnePlus 5 Slate Gray variant comes equipped with a 5.5-inch full-HD Optic AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a scratch resistance 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating on top. There's no microSD card slot on the OnePlus 5. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.45GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM.

There are dual cameras on the back. The primary sensor at the rear has dual LED and f/1.7 aperture while the secondary sensor features 4K video recording support and f/2.6 aperture. OnePlus 5 has proved to be a successful smartphone from the Chinese smartphone company. With Dash Charge, proprietary charging technology from OnePlus, user will always get a day's power in half an hour.
