According to the Hollywood Reporter, Nick will co-star in a new film called Chaos Walking, described as a "post-apocalyptic thriller". He will be joining stars Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Lost City Of Z), Daisy Ridley (Scrawl, Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Damian Bichir (The Hateful Eight), and Mads Mikkelsen (Rogue One, Casino Royale). The script was adapted by Charlie Kaufman (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), Patrick Ness, Lindsey Beer, Gary Spinelli and John Lee Hancock.

The upcoming sci-fi flick is an adaptation of Patrick Ness's novel "Chaos Walking: The Knife of Never Letting Go", which is set in a dystopian world where all creatures can hear others' thoughts as words, sounds, and images.

The book is centered on the only boy in a town of men. After discovering an important secret hidden from him, however, he decides to flee the town with his dog, meeting a odd girl. With the townspeople in pursuit, they set off on a white-knuckle journey in which the boy must unlearn everything he knows to figure out who he truly is.

Lionsgate's release date is still a ways off at March 1, 2019 but this project has an impressive cast so far and could be something to keep on your radar.

Jonas will next be seen in "Jumanji" alongside Dwayne Johnson, and is slowly but surely working his way out of the virginal "Jonas Brother" reputation he held for so long.
