Bournemouth travel to the Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion in their Premier League opener on Saturday afternoon, and may well fancy their chances of picking up all three points.

Hegazi، on loan from Egypt's Al Ahly، scored the only goal of the game for West Brom in the 31st minute، deftly heading Chris Brunt's inswinging ball from the right between the legs of Bournemouth keeper Asmir Begovic in the 31st minute.

Speaking post-match, Pulis also spoke highly of another of his new signings, attacker James Rodriguez, who arrived from Southampton.

"I believe that there's a tremendous talent pool in there and if that talent can not be realised immediately within our own ranks it is vital we get them out into league football to continue their development and education".

Ahmed Hegazy was successful with 72% of his attempted passes against Bournemouth.

With regard to conversations with club chairman John Williams, the Welshman mentioned having spoken "at great length over the summer", knowing the direction needed that together they "are determined to do".

"All the work we have done this week has paid off".

"We must never take that for granted and continue to commit every ounce of our energy to keeping our club in the division every club in the country wants to be in".

Early chances for new signing Jay Rodriguez showed promising signs for West Brom, despite Eddie Howe's side dominating possession.

The Argentina worldwide went close again early in the second period with a header into the side-netting as the Baggies continued to pose a threat from dead balls. Ahmed Hegazi looks like a really, really good buy.

Tony Pulis says he wants more new players at West Brom, despite their opening-day win over Bournemouth.
