Florida has suspended troubled receiver Antonio Callaway and six others for the team's season opener against MI.

While Davis was expected to make an impact along the defensive line, Callaway is easily the biggest name on the list. In July, he pleaded no contest to misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after police found marijuana in his pocket during a traffic stop.

"We have a small group of players that have made some choices that are extremely disappointing", coach Jim McElwain said in a release. They have missed some practice and will miss the MI game. They were later dropped, and Callaway reinstated, following a school-sponsored Title IX investigation in which he told committee members he was "so stoned I had no interest in having sex with anyone".
