While nobody wants to see 2 Chainz suffer, the bulk of the focus pertained to his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music tour, which faced risk of cancellation in light of the injury.

The 39-year-old rapper took to the stage at Tucson, Arizona's Rialto Theatre on Wednesday (09Aug17) in the bright pink wheelchair.

2 Chainz posted an inspirational message to his Instagram, assuring his fans that he is going to continue the tour despite his injury.

His solution certainly was imaginative: 2 Chainz found a pink wheelchair, scrawled the word "trap" on the back, and performed his entire set with his leg hoisted up.

"After all the morphine and pains meds wore off I called management and said somebody find me a 'pink wheelchair, '" he wrote.

"If you look up resilient in the Webster dictionary it's gone be a picture of me rocking a fucking show in a pink wheelchair!"

That's some attractive stuff right there. And we couldn't be more grateful.

However he was determined not to disappoint fans and so chose to get "creative" by asking his management to find him a wheelchair to perform in so his tour could go ahead.

Kids, this is how you persevere through adversity.

2 Chainz is making the best of an uncomfortable situation.

The Pretty Girls Like Trap Music Tour will continue throughout the rest of this month and end on September 22, in Las Vegas at the Life Is Beautiful Festival.
