The claims were part of the most recent unsuccessful bail application the Malayalam superstar moved in court.

In the bail petition, Dileep has accused his ex-wife Manju Warrier of being involved in hatching the conspiracy against him. They also equally influenced media persons, police and political leaders. The actress was assaulted back in February and the final report of the case was submitted three months before the arrest of mastermind Dileep. The claims came with the bail pleas that Dileep is now applying for but to no avail.

Dileep, who is charged under various sections of IPC like "hatching criminal conspiracy for abduction and assault" of the actress is now held in a jail in Aluva.

Dileep's mother Sarojam visited him along with Anoop.

Behra confirmed that Dileep had given a complaint regarding the letter sent by "Pulsar" Suni, the first accused in the case of abduction bid and molestation of an actress.

The High Court bench has adjourned the hearing of Dileep's new bail application on August 18.

He has also cited that after Warrier and him separated, their daughter Meenakshi had chosen to stay with him which points out to his family oriented nature.

Another allegation is that the actor was arrested a few months before Meenakshi's 18th birthday and this also proves that there was a conspiracy behind the arrest.

It may be noted that Dileep's name surfaced in connection with the case merely days after the February incident.

Notably, in a previous report to the court, the police had stated that Dileep hatched the conspiracy against the actress because he wanted to exact "revenge" from her, as he held her responsible for the failure of his first marriage to Manju Warrier.

Meanwhile, police said that the actor was under observation, even before he filed the complaint.
