Dark Arisen is an interesting RPG adventure, where you have your main character, but you also have up to three "pawns" or AI companions that fight alongside you. By utilizing the Xbox Live online entertainment network or PlayStation Network, players will journey to the Rift where they can share their own Pawns with friends and be rewarded with treasure, knowledge of the world and strategies for taking down enemies. So console gamers should be in for a real treat when this game releases.

As always, it is interesting to mention the MMORPG cousin, dubbed Dragon's Dogma Online, available only in Japan, as it has an army of translators on Reddit who are working diligently in bringing the content to the western communities. This expanded version is now being released for consoles also. There is still no word of an English release. Dragon's Dogma received praise for the game's day and night cycle, which affects the game's difficulty, sending players running for cover as darkness falls. Since launching worldwide, Dragon's Dogma has sold over 3.2 million copies. A physical edition of this remastered game has already been confirmed.
