Ben Affleck says Justice League reshoots aren't cause for concern

There's been a lot of speculation surrounding Affleck's uncertain future in the DCEU and there has previously been a considerable amount of critical and audience negativity surrounding the movies in this shared universe.

"It's a little bit unorthodox", he tells Entertainment Weekly.

Back in May, in the middle of reshoots, director Zack Snyder walked away from the movie due to a tragedy in his family. Apparently, Joss Whedon is reshooting the ending to make it feel more like a complete movie and less like a cliffhanger for Justice League 2.

That's what makes November's Justice League so interesting as both filmmakers put their own touches on the movie.

This is of course what we hope, of course, even if it was a little hard to believe fully in this positive narrative of a Ben Affleck that, there is not so long ago, has been dispossessed of the power he had on the DCU to the point that we wonder very seriously if he wasn't going to slam the door of The Batman. So, how's that process worked out for the DCEU's Batman?

Affleck goes on to describe Justice League as "an interesting product of two directors, both with kind of unique visions, both with really strong takes". "Argo, we did reshoots for a week and a half!" Four days on 'Gone Baby Gone!' This is a really nice time to work in DC. This summer's Wonder Woman was an unabashed success both critically and commercially, and so now the studio's big team-up movie hopes to keep that goodwill alive after poor critical response to Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad. They're hitting their stride. In fact, Affleck said he thinks that things are finally starting to work and DC is getting things right as they move forward. The official description can be found below. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

A new rumor regarding Justice League has been dropped.
