Newcastle United are considering making a loan move for Jack Wilshere.

The 25-year-old hasn't played a first-team game for Arsenal since returning from his loan spell at Bournemouth as he continues to work his way back to full fitness following his latest injury lay-off, although he did feature for the Gunners' U23 side against Derby County last week. He is certainly not happy about something.

The latest stage of Jack Wilshere's comeback ended in ignominy when he was sent off for pushing an opponent to the ground in reaction to a late challenge.

The fracas then saw City defender Tyreke Wilson run to the centre circle to confront Wilshere, the two players grappling each other around the neck before further teammates from each side became involved in shoving as tempers boiled over.

First though, Nketiah offered an assist for the opener, involved in a one-two with Reiss Nelson that was followed by the latter drilling an unstoppable low shot into the bottom corner from 20 yards.

The midfielder, who was making his second appearance for Arsenal after coming back from a fractured leg, picked up a straight red card for shoving City's Matthew Smith in Monday night's 4-3 Premier League 2 win at the Emirates Stadium.

Diaz is the hotshot who scored a screamer for City against Real Madrid during their American pre-season tour and is tipped to make some first team minutes for Pep Guardiola this season.
