We are all excited for the launch of Android O. Are you? Previously it was speculated that Android O could finally be called Android Oreo or Android Oatmeal Cookie, though it looks like we'll have to wait a little longer to find out its official name. The inclusion of an octopus as an Easter egg inside the latest Android O beta suggests Google might be ditching desserts and moving to underwater molluscs instead. Apart from developers, it is available for regular users as well. Before installing Android O Beta, it is advisable to backup up of all the data on phone given this isn't the stable build. Android O will bring features such as app badges, revamped settings interface, snooze notifications, new emojis among other great features.

To improve battery life, Google is introducing "Wise Limits" - a feature which places restrictions on background apps, especially those which use location services constantly.

In addition to the double tap to zoom feature, the camera app is also adding another feature which should be useful to users - the ability to switch between the photo and video modes using a dedicated button.
