Aaron also revealed that his brother, former Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, hasn't been in touch with him since he came out as bisexual.

The I Want Candy singer has been embracing his new bisexual identity since coming out August 5.

Carter added that he loves his brother, but said of Nick: "I think he loves me conditionally".

"If I could ask one male celebrity out on a date it would be Tom Hardy", Carter shared. "I'm keeping it real with you". He then reiterated, "I love my brother, it's all good, you know, but at the same time, I have my path and my journey to focus on".

Their split came a matter of hours after Aaron announced, via his Twitter account, that he's bisexual.

Their issues continued into adulthood, as he claims Nick never reached out to him directly in light of his recent DUI arrest, despite reports that his family members were concerned about his well-being. "My music is about my relationships and my father that I recently lost".

"Be safe my loves", he wrote.

A weeping Carter, 29, told "Elvis Duran and the Morning Show" he felt "misunderstood" and "misinterpreted" in his relationship with Madison Parker, who he revealed he met on Instagram.

Later in the evening, after he'd dedicated a new song to his homophobic ex ("Bye Felicia", he apparently shouted), he wiped away tears, telling the audience, "I just want to say thank you for believing in me again, guys".

While he deleted his Twitter account shortly after the post above, it appears to have been reactivated as he finally gathered up the courage to face social media trolls head on.

He said that Parker had had a hard time accepting his bisexuality.

If my own blood (Nick) truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn't he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum? Carter said in a statement released by his reps.
