Heather Watson's reward for her brilliant win against Anastasija Sevastova is a tough third-round tie at Wimbledon against former world No. 1 Victoria Azarenka.

Watson is the first Briton to make it through to the third round of the tennis tournament so far this year. ALSO READ Heather Watson thankful for Wimbledon wildcard.

It was nearly as if she played too well, and when her level dropped, Sevastova capitalised on three double faults in one game to move 2-1 ahead. Obviously I know how she plays and she's a great player and I was expecting her to be playing her best so I was prepared for that.

The British No.2 played a flawless first set on a baking Court Two and then twice recovered from a break down in the second to win 6-0, 6-4.

"Making the second week of a Slam would be huge for me, it's been one of my goals since forever", she added. I feel like if I post a picture or something, I usually post a motivational quote underneath.

"But I said "No, your girlfriend will kill you".

Watson, from Guernsey, played to an nearly full Number Three Court, with shouts of "come on Heather!" heard between points.

"And if I do, my coach said he'd shave his head". I just have to remain calm and just adjust my game.

"They really help me".

"I'm happy my new team and practices are going really well". I don't want to pay a lot of attention to those aspects.
