Hopefully for Nintendo Switch owners, third party games like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 sell well so the console can receive ports of other major third party releases.

Arc System Works and Bandai Namco had more to show for Dragon Ball FighterZ at Evo 2017 with a look at a new trailer featuring Future Trunks as well as an announcement of a July 26 beta. Producer Tomoko Hiroki announced the new character at Evo and debuted a new trailer showing off Trunks fighting against other familiar characters in the series. Both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players can sign up for the beta on July 26 when registration starts. Players will be able to select from a roster of nine playable characters, which will include Trunks. Despite being revealed during Microsoft's press conference, Dragon Ball FighterZ is coming to PC and PS4 as well as Xbox One. According to Hiroki, the "Z" was attached to the end of the title because of its strong connection with the franchise and, with it being the last letter of the title, evokes a "last" and "ultimate" feeling for the game.
