Sunday weather: Partly sunny, with highs in the upper 70s

We will do it all again tomorrow, rain chances staying fairly high, especially for our southern counties.

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will be warm and sunny, but you'll have to watch out for thunderstorms Monday. Lows in lower 70s. Scattered to Numerous showers and storms will develop during the afternoon and evening posing a threat for very heavy rainfall, along with the threat of some gusty winds and small hail.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 81. Rain chances remain at 60 percent. Monday night will be mostly cloudy.

Today: Partly to mostly cloudy this morning with areas of fog.

Some drier air will begin to move in overnight, with just a slight chance for showers and storms. Highs will be in the lower 90s. Light northwest wind becoming north 5 to 10 miles per hour in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Wednesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 45.

Sunday: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 79.

The chance for rain will continue into the beginning of the workweek.

Showers and storms will linger throughout the morning into the evening. Lows in the lower 70s. Thursday and Friday will be sunny, hot, and humid with highs in the low to mid 90s. There will be a 30 percent chance of rain.

Sunday night: Clear, with a low around 49.

Another similar day for Wednesday, but will be warmer with highs in the lower 90s, with heat index values near 100.
