A former member of Kelly's inner circle, Cheryl Mack, has also spoken out about the situation. According to the women, six others spend time living in Kelly's Duluth and Chicago properities, where a den mother teaches them the proper ways to sexually satisfy Kelly, and they're called the singer's "babies" and told they must call him "daddy".

According to three former crew members and the parents of one 21-year-old woman, who was lured by Kelly's promise to promote her singing career, the singer keeps the women at his homes in Atlanta and Chicago, where he controls all aspects of their lives, reported Buzzfeed.

Buzzfeed obtained audio of R. Kelly's conversations with the then minor, in which he remains disengaged when she mentions her music, clarifying he's "more interested in developing [her]".

However, two years later, J., her husband Tim and the parents of several other young women say that they cannot retrieve their daughters from the 50-year-old musician.

The problem for the woman's parents is that she's technically not a missing person. Another woman, [Kitti] Jones, claimed that "Kelly held her against a tree and slapped her outside of a Subway sandwich shop in spring 2013 because she had been too friendly with the male cashier there". A videotape of Kelly allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old surfaced years ago, but the singer was acquitted in 2008 on 14 charges of making child pornography.

A group of American parents have accused R&B icon R Kelly of holding their daughters against their wills and keeping them for his sexual pleasures. He forces them to face the wall when other men are in the room so no one else will look at them, which is also why he largely has them dress in unflattering tracksuits. For her, it is obvious that his daughter is the victim of a cult, and like other families, she was seized by the authorities.

Buzzfeed was not able to reach Kelly or any of the women now in his entourage for comment. "[She] looked like a prisoner-it was awful", the mother said.

The FADER has contacted R. Kelly's rep for comment. They've received just two text messages from their daughter in that time, one wishing she could spend Christmas with them and another reading, "Happy Mother's Day from me and Rob".

The legalities of this case are tricky, since all of them women in Kelly's inner circle seem to be of legal age, and when police have checked on them, they've said that they're fine and they want to be left alone.

Another mother said she hasn't seen her daughter in over a year.

The article leans on an interview with parents who haven't seen their "brainwashed" kids in almost two years, as well as legal documentation, and testimonials from former members of Kelly's inner circle. Kelly allegedly even made them ask for permission to eat or go to the bathroom.

The young women in question were reportedly brought to Kelly by their parents who wanted to help their children find success in the music industry. "But Robert is the devil", McGee said, suggesting that the singer has two personalities. But she just kept saying she's in love and (Kelly) is the one who cares for her. Kelly has settled more than a dozen civil lawsuits out of court with cash payments.

Kelly, 50, also reportedly controls almost every aspect of the women's lives-telling each one what to eat and how to dress.
