HMD Global - the Finnish company that owns the rights to manufacture Nokia-branded smartphones - is closer to launch its most expensive smartphone till date.

Nokia's return to the smartphone markets has been quite the story.

Whether HMD Global plans to release the Nokia 9 as a separate flagship or that it is a canceled device is yet to be known. According to recent rumors, the Nokia 8 is said to feature the latest Snapdragon 835 chip with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Nokia chose to launch itself with Windows Operating System and this led to ouster of the then leading phone making company.

On the other hand, Nokia 2 is said to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor, but rest of the specifications are yet to be ascertained. As of now it is also possible that the company might launch the phone in a 6/8GB RAM variant with more storage, but it is not clear. We have even see the leak of this phone earlier in the Geekbench's listing, however the actual device would be Nokia 8 and it is finally going to be unveiled on the coming July 31st. The source also hints that the Nokia 8 will be priced at 589 Euros (AED 2480).

Four colors schemes should be available at launch - blue, steel, gold/blue and gold/copper, though the marketing team may have different ideas for the naming of those. For comparison, the iPhone 7 costs Rs 47,699, and the Galaxy S8 sells for Rs 57,900.

The information comes from a German website WinFuture (who are considered to be reliable when it's about proper release dates), the Nokia 8 goes with the model number as TA-1004.

At this point, Nokia 8 remains a mysterious smartphone.

It is said to feature a large, 5.7 inched display, which will offer a resolution of 1440p. However, those Nokia 8 renders aren't legitimate, claim the media reports.
