Former Inter Milan boss Frank de Boer has made his first signing for Crystal Palace.

The academy graduate midfielder has now sealed his season-long switch to Crystal Palace, following the likes of Tammy Abraham, Ola Aina, Todd Kane and Danilo Pantic out of the exit door as Chelsea's outgoing loan contingent swells in size once more.

Speaking about his move to Selhurst Park, Loftus-Cheek believes it can give him the chance to kick his career on.

But his progress has stalled since making the transition to Chelsea's first-team squad and he was given just six substitute appearances in the Premier League under Antonio Conte last season. "Palace is good club so I thought it's a good chance to play here and be a part of the team." .

For their part, Chelsea and their fans will look for Loftus-Cheek to flourish at Palace and return to west London rejuvenated at the end of his loan spell.

He played 6 times for Chelsea in their title-winning project last period as well as has grabbed 2 Premier Organization victor's medals.

The midfielder is confident he can help Palace look to climb the Premier League table next season, the south London club having battled to stay up under Sam Allardyce, who made a decision to leave earlier in the summer. I think we can do well in the league as well as the cup competitions, so Ive got high hopes.
