At the end of the trailer shown, it was announced that Kingdom Hearts III is set to release in 2018. The new title, which is a collaboration of Disney Interactive and Square Enix, will be the latest installment to a franchise that began back in 2002. The series' first entry hit PlayStation 2 in 2002, 15 years ago; Square Enix has celebrated its anniversary throughout the year, including with a trailer during E3 2017. It's certainly a sight for sore eyes after a lack of KH3 announcements, and the toy-like changes made to Sora, Donald and Goofy you can see in the trailer are absolutely adorable. "Please stay tuned for more details to be revealed soon". "KINGDOM HEARTS III will undoubtedly be an experience that fans will not want to miss".

Fans will be happy to know that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released in 2018 sometime.
