Expected to join West Ham

According to BBC Sport, the England global goalkeeper will undergo a medical at the London club on Monday before joining Slaven Bilic's side on a season-long loan deal.

The Spaniard failed in his attempts to sign one of either Man City's Willy Caballero or Napoli's Pepe Reina, and has set his sights on the Irishman.

Hart is now poised to formalise his move to the Hammers, which will likely lead to speculation over the futures of Adrian and Darren Randolph.

Hart was frozen out of City's first team plans by Pep Guardiola early last season and opted to join Italian outfit Torino on loan.

Although Willy Caballero left the Etihad Stadium as a free agent and has joined Chelsea, Guardiola has since signed the Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson from Benfica for £34.7 million (€39.6m).

He returned to pre-season training at City but there is no hope of kick-starting his career there.

He spoke of his need to be playing regular football during interviews on England duty last mont. "It's not nailed-on mine, it's no one's". Initial loan. Good move for him I think.

Despite his recent troubles West Ham will welcome the arrival of such a significant figure to reinforce a defence that conceded 64 goals in the Premier League last season.

TheGamblingTimes.com revealed back in March that West Ham were one of the clubs looking to land Hart, and now they have agreed terms.
