Enter the Depths of the Little Nightmares DLC, like, right now

Little Nightmares ended up being quite the delightfully dark adventure when it released earlier this year, lurking somewhere at the shadowy intersection of The City of Lost Children and Tim Burton's extended oeuvre. The story runs parallel to the main game and introduces a new area in the process.

The nasty, grotesque monsters of Little Nightmares are back to haunt you, as the game's first bit of DLC in the "Secrets of the Maw" season pass is now out. Players will have to lead the character through a water-based area by solving puzzles that block his way.

Secrets of the Maw is essentially an alternate story that makes up the $10 expansion pass. As The Runaway Kid, you'll have to escape the clutches of The Granny, while solving water-based puzzles and swimming through the "treacherous waters".

Little Nightmares is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and received very positive reviews upon its release. What are your thoughts on the game and will you pick up Secrets of the Maw? Developer Tarsier Studios previously worked on the LittleBigPlanet franchise, as they developed the PlayStation Vita installment.
