Chase Goehring Earns DJ Khaled's Golden Buzzer on 'America's Got Talent'

The hitmaker and Grammy-nominated producer, 41, took his role as guest judge seriously during Tuesday's America's Got Talent when he selected the 21-year-old singer/songwriter from Nolensville, Tennessee - who sang an original song titled "A Capella" - as the recipient of the coveted Golden Buzzer.

"You are incredible. You're attractive", DJ Khaled, the evening's guest judge, told her.

Chase Goehring came to America's Got Talent from his hometown of Nolensville, Tennessee. With Evie expected to deliver a stunning performance for Macy Gray's "I Try", Billboard wonders if DJ Khaled will collaborate with her to deliver the next Hot 100 hit.

DJ Khaled will be the guest judge on "America's Got Talent" Season 12 on July 25, 2017.

"You know, everybody's always talking about money and rap and all that, but he's singing like- He's got talent", said DJ Khaled. "Very talented. The man's got talent".

The judges were impressed by his ability to mix different musical styles in his song. "And it felt real, and you are honest". This gives you much of what you could want from this stage of the competition - maturity, an evolution from the first audition, and genuine talent.

Evie Clair's parents will be there in the audience to watch her perform in front of judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. He was on Season 3 of X-Factor, and he also auditioned with his song "Hurt".

This week, some of the contestants who will compete in the second judge cuts include Puddles Pity Party, Kechi Okwuchi, Chase Goehring and more.
